The questions arrive before the guest sets off.
How to get there, whether the road is open, what to bring: people heading up ask the day before. Until now they asked you, on the phone, while you were somewhere else.
The people who used to write the night before already have the answer.
The link goes out with the booking confirmation, so ConSergio can be reached long before the arrival. The information is yours, from the road to take to the time the village shop closes.
- The link already works from the valley floor, where there is signal
- What you explain on the phone you write once, and it holds for every guest after
- If a basket of local produce or a bundle of firewood is wanted, the request reaches you in writing
The dark gets there before the guest
The same evening, as you used to live it and as somebody still driving up lives it.
How the night before used to go
- The eight o'clock phone call about the key box code
- The stove explained out loud, with the guest's hands already cold
- The message about the road being open, three times a week from November
With ConSergio the night before
- Whoever arrives after dark finds the code and the stove instructions on their phone
- You update the state of the road, and that is what the guest reads
- The basket and the firewood are asked for in chat, and the request stays in writing
High up, the phone does not always have signal.
ConSergio is a web page, so it wants a connection. In the mountains that is a real condition, and talking around it would only serve to sell you a subscription that then sits there.
- The link goes out with the booking confirmation: the questions of the day before get asked from home, where there is signal
- Where you have Wi-Fi at the cabin, the QR code on the door works as it would in a hotel
- Where there is neither signal nor Wi-Fi, and the questions only arrive once the guest is already up there, we tell you beforehand
Fewer phone calls at eight in the evening
The instructions get written once
What you repeat at every booking you write once, and from then on it tells them, including people who write to you in a language you do not speak.
The code is always the right one
You change it in the dashboard and it holds from the next message.
What they actually asked
The history shows you which information every arrival needs, and which nobody ever opened.
Two nights, one changeover.
Eight beds, and nobody on site to welcome anyone.
- 14Questions that came in before the arrival
- 12Settled without calling you
- 2Services booked in chat
The questions of people hosting high up
And if there is no phone signal at the hut?
Then ConSergio works before and after, not during. The link goes out with the booking confirmation, so the questions of the day before (how to get there, whether the road is open, what to bring) get asked from home or from the valley floor, where there is signal. If you have Wi-Fi at the hut, the QR code on the door works like anywhere else. If there is neither signal nor Wi-Fi, and the questions all arrive once the guest is already up there, we will tell you before selling you a subscription.
I have a single hut: does the fee make sense?
The Essential plan starts at €29 a month, includes the multilingual concierge and is meant for properties with up to about ten rooms. If you only open in season you pause during the closed months, so you pay for the ones you work.
My property closes for the winter: can I pause the subscription?
Yes. From the subscription area you switch off when you close and back on when you reopen, so you pay for the months the property is working. The content stays where it is: when you reopen you find services, timings, answers and QR codes as you left them, and the first guest of the season finds everything ready.
And if the guest does not scan the QR code?
The QR code is a shortcut to a web address, and you can also send that address by message before arrival or put it in the confirmation email. Anyone who would rather ask in person carries on doing exactly that.
Be reachable while the guest still has signal
The information you give on the phone you write once, and the people heading up find it when they need it, which is the day before.
